Mr. Huang Shengchu is President of China Coal Information Institute based in Beijing. He completed his study with Ph. D degree at universities in China and Germany. He has been working for more than 20 years in coal mining and safety. Dr. Huang was instrumental in establishment of the China Coalbed Methane Clearinghouse in 1994 with support of USEPA. Under his leadership, his team in Clearinghouse has achieved a lot in CBM/CMM technology and policy study, developed more than twenty CDM Projects on CMM/CBM development and utilization.
Mr. Huang is the vice-chair of the Coal Committee of M2M Partnership, and he is engaged by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as consultant of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and he is also involved by Asian Development Bank and World Bank as consultant for CBM/CMM projects in China.
China Coal Information Institute (CCII) is a national leading research institute, since established in 1959,CCII has expended its business in the areas of information research , publication of books and periodicals, audio & video products, printing services and property management, making great contributions to the development of China coal industry and occupational safety & health.
CCII is and internationally well-known organization with excellent accomplishments in coal, energy, environment, legislation research and has expertise of projects development in cooperation with the governmental departments and companies in more than 20 countries including USA, UK, Germany, Japan, Australia and international organizations such as United Nations Development Programme, World Bank, and Asia Development Bank. CCII is very active in CBM/CMM and climate Change areas, promoting applications and transfer of advanced technologies, and investment in the development and utilization of CBM/CMM, which result in reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. |

Dr. Yu Zhufeng, research professor. Deputy director of Coal Chemical Processing Branch, China Coal Research Institute. Deputy Executive Director of Clean Coal Engineering &Research Centre of Coal Industry. Deputy Secretary-General and Board Member of China Energy Research Society. Board Member of China Coal Society. She is the member of Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Expert Team of MOST (the Ministry of Science and Technology of China).
Has been engaged in the research work on clean coal technology and clean energy for several years，she completed several national key projects such as “Alternative energy study in China”, “Policy Study on Development and Utilization of CCT” and World Bank project “Policy Advice on Implementation of Clean Coal technology Project in Non-power Sector” as the task leaders, and involved in many key projects including "Study on China's Follow-up Energy Development Strategy", “Eleventh Five-Year Plan for Power Development”, "Countermeasures Concerning Fuel Oil Conservation and Substitution", "Assessment on Rational Technical and Economic Routes for SO2 Reduction", etc.
More than 60 papers has been published at home and abroad, including "Current Status and Prospect of Clean Coal Technology Development in China", "Clean Coal Technology is the Key Technology Area of China's Clean Energy ","China's Sustainable Development and Clean Coal Technology" and so on. |

1986年7月毕业于湖南大学有机合成材料专业，获工学学士；1989年6月中国石油大学（北京）炼制系石油加工工程专业毕业，获工学硕士学位，并分配到巴陵石油化工设计院工作；1991年赴美国SimSci公司参加石油化工流程模拟软件技术培训。1992年考取华南理工大学化学工程研究所化学工程专业的博士研究生，1994年赴英国伦敦参加ESDA国际会议并宣读博士论文，同时顺访英国牛津大学、伦敦大学，新加坡及香港大学，1995年毕业，获工学博士学位。1994年晋升为化工高级工程师，1996年初任巴陵石油化工设计院副总工程师。1996年5月调到岳阳石油化工总厂技术开发处副处长，主管技术开发工作。主管技术开发期间的成果转化率大80%以上。1997年赴法国、比利时考察SHELL的工厂和聚合物研究中心，兼任团组翻译。1998年赴香港科技大学进行环保工程专业的博士后研究工作。1999年9月任岳阳石油化工总厂副总工程师。2000年5月任巴陵石油化工有限责任公司副总工程师兼发展计划部主任，主管公司的发展规划、投资、工程建设、关联交易等。2000年晋升为教授级高工，同时获得工程监理工程师资格。2001年9月至2002年1月参加中国石化集团公司高级经营人才培训班（中青班，MBA速成）并赴澳大利亚实习，兼任团队翻译。2002年4月任巴陵石油化工有限责任公司总经理助理。2003年7月任（中外合资）岳阳中石化壳牌煤气化有限公司高级技术顾问、技术经理。2007年5月调任中海石油化学股份有限公司煤化工技术总监、煤化工技术组组长。 |
